These Digital Communications Terms and Conditions govern how Hanover Pest Services contacts you via SMS text messaging and email. They apply to all customers and prospective customers who opt into our communications programs. By providing your contact information and opting in, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
Eligibility & Participation
To participate in our communications programs, you must:
- be at least 18 years of age
- reside in Pennsylvania where these services are available; and
- be the account holder or have authorization to use the phone number or email address provided. By opting in, you represent that these conditions are met.
Communications Program Overview
Hanover Pest Services operates an SMS and email messaging program to keep customers informed and engaged. Messages sent through this program may include, but are not limited to:
- Service appointment reminders and scheduling confirmations
- Service updates, safety notices, and operational announcements
- Account and billing notifications
- Customer satisfaction surveys and feedback requests
- Promotional offers, discounts, and seasonal campaigns
Email frequency may vary based on account activity and preferences. Messages may be sent using automated systems and may be generated or personalized using artificial intelligence (AI) technology.
Consent to Receive Communications
By submitting your information through any of our enrollment channels—including, but not limited to, by phone, SMS, email, our website, in-person, or service agreement—you provide express written consent for Hanover Pest Services to contact you by phone, SMS, email, and mail, including the use of automated technology and artificial intelligence (AI). You further acknowledge that some messages may be generated or personalized using artificial intelligence (AI) technology on our behalf.
Consent to receive marketing or promotional communications is not a condition of purchasing any product or service. You may still receive transactional and service-related communications related to your account even if you opt out of promotional messaging.
Opting Out & Unsubscribing
- SMS: Reply STOP to any message sent from Hanover Pest Services. You will receive a one-time confirmation, after which no further promotional SMS messages will be sent.
- Email: Click the ‘Unsubscribe’ link in any marketing email, or email us directly at office@hanoverpest.com
- All channels: Contact us at 717-268-9936 or office@hanoverpest.com to request removal from all communications
We do our best to honor all opt-out requests in a timely manner. Please allow up to 10 business days for us to fully process your opt-out request. Opting out of promotional communications will not affect transactional messages such as appointment confirmations, billing statements, or legally required notices.
Re-Enrollment After Opting Out
If you have previously opted out and wish to re-enroll, you may do so using any of the enrollment methods described in Section 4. Each subsequent re-enrollment constitutes renewed consent under these Terms and Conditions.
Message Frequency & Carrier Rates
Message and data rates may apply based on your wireless plan. Hanover Pest Services is not responsible for any charges assessed by your wireless carrier. For questions about your plan, contact your carrier directly. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is subject to carrier availability and network conditions.

Legal Compliance
We do our best to operate our communications programs in compliance with applicable federal and state laws, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), the CAN-SPAM Act, and applicable state regulations governing electronic communications. Modifications to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms and Conditions at any time. All changes will be posted to our website. Material changes may be communicated via email. Continued use of our services following notice of changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms and Conditions.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hanover Pest Services shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from delayed, undelivered, misdirected, or otherwise failed messages. Our total liability for any claim related to these Terms and Conditions shall not exceed the amount you paid for services in the preceding 30 days.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in York County, Pennsylvania.
